Alicia, I forwarded our e-mail on to Doug’s parent so hopefully they can give you any further info they might like the class to know. He passed away in 2000 after a very long battle with Crohn’s disease. He was one of my neighbors and a good friend. It’s sad to have to ad him to the list, but he is someone that needs to be remembered.

Joseph “Joe” Kowalski

Hello Alicia,

I found you listed as the contact for the SDHS class of 1974. My brother, Joseph “Joe” Kowalski, graduated in 1974. I am sad to report that Joe passed away in December (June 4, 1956 – December 24, 2008) after suffering a stroke. I do not know if he is on any alumni list, but I know he enjoyed being a Mustang, playing basketball, running cross-country, and taking part in Mr. Liggett’s “drama chorus” and theater activities. He had many lifetime Mustang friends.
