Hi guys. I’m sorry but I have to miss this one - delivering our daughter to college at UC Davis. You will have such a great time…take pictures and post! Paul - thanks for having everyone. Committee - you guys do a such a great job. The rest of you stay healthy so I can see you at the next one! Thinking of our kids, I saw a great quote today: “If you can’t be a great example then at least be a horrible warning!”
August 12th, 2009 at 6:05 pm
Hi everybody,
Hope you all have a great time. One of these days I hope to make it to a reunion. Still in Hawaii working, surfing, and watching the kids grow.
Take good care,
Richard Campbell

I am on the list of ‘Missing’ for the year 1974. Consider me found.
I live in Overland Park, KS. I don’t know that many in the class because I only went there a year and a half, but I made some good friends and wish I could find them.

Life in Seattle is wonderful, however, 2008 was a roller coaster year for me…A definite highlight was my daughter, Michelle, graduating from Ingraham High School as valedictorian. The previous year her brother, Alex, had also been the valedictorian…probably the only brother-sister team to hold that distinction for that school. Both are now in college. Michelle just finished her freshman year at the University of Oregon, Eugene with a focus on international studies. Alex is studying architecture at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Three years ago I finished my master’s in urban planning at the University of Washington; a profession I dearly love.
Much of the time I have peace and relatively quiet living with my Siamese cat until my college kids land at my door. I divorced 2 years ago and I am now dipping a toe in the dating world. Mostly I find both exercise and enjoyment with a variety of social dancing: salsa, waltz, swing, blues, and more, which I have been doing for the past 18 months. The challenges in 2008 included getting laid off as a land use planner on Halloween 2008, followed by a brief employment stint at the City of Seattle. Then I had the misfortune to break some bones in my foot last December, just in time for all of our record snow in Seattle…thankfully, I am now healed and back to dancing, however, the jobhunting continues. So I hope that anyone else sharing my job-seeking status keeps their spirits up; these economic times will turn better! Please look me up if you come to Seattle!

Looking forward to another great reunion! I’ll be tap dancing (yup, still doing that stuff) in LA the week before, so the timing worked out great!
Still tolerating Minnesota winters, training performers (as a job) and dogs (for fun). Looking forward to some California sunshine.
June 17th, 2009 at 5:46 am
The clock is ticking… not much longer… fun times ahead at Paul’s barn.
Please help us find as many alumni as possible.
If you can, please become a sponsor of this event.
I can’t wait to see everyone… even you, Dewey…
June 15th, 2009 at 5:40 am
I went to Skyline Elementary in Solana Beach and then only one year to Earl Warren Junior High, but I still think about the kids I went to school with till I left to attend another school: people like Beth Moore, Melissa Smith, Peggy Russell, Julia Compton, Sherill Conley, Elizabeth Porterfield, Mark Holmerud (who lived around the corner from me), David Kolb, and so many more…I live in San Diego now. Solana Beach has changed so much! No more skating rink!
June 14th, 2009 at 2:58 am
Can’t wait to see everyone and have fun at the Barn…again!!!
June 10th, 2009 at 1:22 pm

I’ll be there for the reunion in August — I’m really excited to see everyone! I’m still living in the Chicago area, working in corporate travel management and raising my 3 kids … can’t wait to see all of you! (I’ll work on making sure Randy Hicks, who lives in Alabama, is there too.) Love to everyone (even to those of you who look REALLY OLD)!– Dewey Warner

Hi Bill Hamilton. Your mom keeps me posted on your life in Rio. I really liked her story about getting lost while walking around downtown there! I just moved back to North County and visited her in the way here from Washington. Already reuniting with lots of gals from our class and looking forward to this year’s reunion.
May 22nd, 2009 at 8:37 pm
You are the best reunion crew. Please call me at my folks place and let me know what I can help with. Sherrill, hope to see you there. See you all in August. ( with Rebecca too )

Sorry, I won’t be able to make it to this reunion this time, but all the other ones were fun. My daughter will be getting ready to go to Japan as an exchange student for 5 months, so we be busy helping her get ready.
If there are any photos after the reunion is over, please let me know how I might be able to get them.
Thanks
Ken

Hi Alicia!
Wow, it’s been a long time! I believe I last saw you in 1985 while I was in the area. A lot has happened - to both of us, I’m sure - since then! I’ve been a missionary with Campus Crusade here in Brazil since 1991. My wife is from Suriname, and we have two daughters - ages 17 and 11.
Anyway, Mark Holmerud mentioned that the Class of ‘74 will be having its 35th reunion this summer! I most likely will be unable to make it since we have opposite seasons here and August is a key month for our work at the universities, but I would like to be updated on this important reunion and any future events, okay?
Thanks so much!

Hi Alicia,
I moved back to the area a few years ago. I live in Vista and work for my brother at Dramm & Echter, which is down the street from Paul’s barn. I would be happy to help out wherever I can for the reunion in August. You can contact me through my email at work or at 597-0212.
Thanks so much.
